“There are so many ways to see the landscape before us… the broad expanse of the “myriad of things” making up our cosmos; the ever evolving cycle of the day, of the seasons, and of the greater changes that stretch out before us; the intimate details of color, texture, sound, smell… ultimately presence and attention. All of these ways of attending to the world inspire me to draw, paint and push at the surface at hand.”
